TCGCollect (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use tcgcollect.app. By using the service, you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
When you sign in via Google or Discord OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your OAuth provider. We do not receive or store your passwords. If you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. We may receive billing information such as your name, billing address, and the last four digits of your payment method — but full card numbers are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored by us. We may also automatically collect certain technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and usage patterns via cookies and analytics services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to: authenticate you and maintain your session, associate your card collection data with your account, resolve disputes, prevent fraudulent or illegal activity, enforce our Terms of Service, and send transactional communications if needed.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for profit. We may disclose your information to our third-party service providers solely to operate and improve the service. We may also disclose your information without notice if required by law, to protect the rights or property of TCGCollect, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
5. Children's Privacy
IF YOU ARE NOT AT LEAST 13 YEARS OLD, YOU MUST NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICE IN ANY MANNER. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 13 years of age. If we learn that personal information from a person under 13 has been collected, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
6. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (page views, performance metrics). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. By using the service, you acknowledge that there are inherent security limitations beyond our control, and that the security of your information cannot be guaranteed.
9. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Google OAuth (sign-in), Discord OAuth (sign-in), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Stripe (payment processing). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
10. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hello@tcgcollect.app.
11. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent.
